About Our Program

Varsity, Junior Varsity and B-Squad Tennis
Middle School

Varsity, Junior Varsity and B-Squad Tennis

Description: We have 3 teams, Varsity, JV, and B Squad - is open to girls in grades 9-12, plus elite 7-8 graders.
Season start date: 11 August, 8am
Fees: $175 plus team uniform (approx $130 - to keep)
Registration: approx 15 July
Tryouts: 11-15 Aug, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Practice times/dates: Varsity, JV, & B practices will be held in the mornings prior to the beginning of school and then after school, subject to change due to inclement weather or rescheduled matches.
Location: Round Lake Park Tennis Courts
Requirements/expectations: All players are expected to attend all tryouts, practices, and matches on time and ready to play. Display enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication.
Awards/recognition: Lake Conference and All State team awards; Letter and academic awards.

All participants MUST be registered before attending tryouts/practice. No participation allowed without paid registration. A current sports physical is needed. Sports physicals are valid for 3 years.

Middle School

Fee: $80

All 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls are welcome to join, no experience necessary.

Practice runs Monday-Thursday, 4:15-5:25 p.m.

We will be play matches against other schools in the Lake Conference. All matches are doubles matches. Once the season begins, there are typically two practices and two matches per week.

Students may take the activity bus home after practices. The bus leaves Central Middle School at 5:30 p.m. If you are picking up your student, please do so on the east side of Central Middle School.

Bus transportation is provided to away matches and back to Central Middle School. Families are responsible for transportation from Central Middle School after the matches.
